Basic Information
Breast Cancer is a very deadly cancer. More then 200,000 women get it each year. Not including the 1,200 men, who get it each year!

Anyone can get breast cancer. Men are not as prone to it as women. In men the HER2 gene is not as command to see. The HER2 gene is the gene that tells our body to make more cells. In women it is very common. We do know why though.
Most people think that if your mother has breast cancer, you will get it too. This is not exactly true. I say this because some times the abnormal gene is passed down yet some times it is not. Also because most women who get breast cancer do not have any other cases in their families.
Most women over the age of 50 get breast cancer, although it can happen during the ages of 18-90.
Also breast cancer does not come up over night. It can take over 20 years to form!
Next is that if you are taller you have a greater chance of getting, breast cancer, and after menopause the heavier women have a greater chance of getting, breast cancer.
Last, but not least, is that at least 12,800 women will die from, breast cancer, this year.
