I chose beast cancer because I wanted to find out more about it. Also because I have known many of people who have had breast cancer. Some of them are my mother, ( 2 times, and I am very lucky to still have her with me today). Next is my Aunt Val, ( she died form breast cancer before I was born). Last is  one of the very nice teachers here at Washington School, Mrs. Byard. The thing with cancer is that it will strike at any time and any where. The person could be a stranger to us , one of our favorite teachers, or a family member. That is another reason I chose this topic, so that maybe women can get checked. This is because, maybe, there wont be so many children that are worried that one day the cancer may come back, and this time not just take part of their mother's breast, but their life. Now all I can do is hope that one day, maybe, I can stop being afraid too.
