    There are a lot of treatments but still very little cures. One of the cures are, that there is a new way to find out if you have breast cancer 12 years before you get it. This is a new type of blood test.

    One of the many ways we are trying to find a cure are, that there are many people who spend there life helping plan events, where you can walk, run, or even just cheer the people on who do. The money you pay to run or walk goes to finding a cure.

    Some of the treatments are Tamoxifen, Chemotherapy, and Herceptin.

     First would be Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy has many side effects on different people. It is all in finding the right dosage for the right person. The way  Chemotherapy is done is the medicine is put in though your  veins. The most common side effects are;

    Tamoxifen therapy is also called Nolvadex. It is a medicine that can effective prevent the recurrence of estrongen-receptor-postive breast cancer. This is when the tumor grows rapidly at a high estrogen environment. This is caused when receivers miss interpret the instructions sent from the hormones, and tells the cells to keep growing. Tamoxifen stops this by preventing estrogen to pass to the cells and slowing the growth of the tumor. It's side effects are the same as Chemotherapy.

    Last would be  Herceptin therapy. Herceptin is also known as trastuzumah. It is a  medicine that is currently given to women who have advance breast cancer, and who have an overactive HER2/neu gene. This gene is found in about 25% of all breast cancers. It's side effects are the same as Chemotherapy.
